My experience...

 

... and education is eclectic and wide ranging. I am a facilitator, leadership coach and trainer; a former teacher and Relate couple therapist with an even earlier executive career in food, film and publishing in the USA and Australia. In addition, I am a coaching supervisor and mentor to senior executive coaches and organisational consultants, and the originator of 9performancepi®

 

An independent and associate consultant for over 25 years, my clients have come from the public and private sectors, including education, IT, agriculture, science, manufacturing, retail, media, finance and health. I have designed and delivered professional development training around the world for 20 yeaars and spoken at conferences to diverse groups, in North America, Europe, Middle East, China, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and UK.

 

For 17 years and at different times for extended periods I was closely involved with the advancement of professional membership organizations:  British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) - Trustee and Board Member; Association for Counselling at Work (ACW) - Chair and Managing Editor of its journal; and Association for Coaching (AC) - Honorary Vice President and Founding Head of Accreditation and Chair of the AC UK Advisory Panel. 

 

For the past 3 years my pro bono focus was co-creating and leading a very successful community cafe to ensure the financial security and longevity of a village library, where everyone involved is also a volunteer.

 

I am a Fellow of BACP, Fellow of AC, with an MSc in Organisation Consulting (Ashridge) and various recognised diplomas and certificates in coaching, counselling, teaching and psychometrics, plus an abiding interest in spirituality and healing.  I am also a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner and the author of the book Emotional Wisdom with Bach Flower Remedies.
